As introduced by the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009, the CYPP will become a joint strategy agreed by children's trust partners on how they will co-operate to improve children's wellbeing, and responsibility for the CYPP will be passed from local authorities to children's trust boards in April 2010.
Each trust partner is responsible for ensuring implementation of the CYPP, and the board must monitor its progress. Consultation results are expected in spring 2010.
Closing date: 29 January 2010
