Connexions Cheshire and Warrington Young People's Reference Group is leading the Fighting for Connexions Campaign, which is being supported by young people in 11 other Connexions partnership areas.
The campaign has so far produced 10,000 postcards calling for Blair to help, with a further 4,000 due to be printed.
Becki Tomkins, 17, one of the Cheshire and Warrington campaigners, said: "I couldn't believe it when I saw the articles about Connexions. I can't believe the Government would want to revert to the old careers service going through schools, because there's a potential for schools to be biased."
Becki added: "Connexions offers so much more than careers advice. Losing it will have a much bigger impact than people realise. It's the most fantastic thing that has happened to a lot of young people."
