The contract, which will run until the end of March 2008, will cover information and guidance for 13- to 19-year-olds, as well as specialist services for education, employment and training.
Ealing is one of six authorities in the west London partnership area to be funded directly by the Department for Education and Skills to run Connexions services. Services are provided in the borough by guidance company CfBT, as well as the council and voluntary organisations.
