The 2.3m campaign will target four million 13 to 19-year-olds using television, radio, internet, and posters on buses and shelters.
Results from a customer satisfaction survey of more than 16,000 teenagers, also revealed at the launch, showed a 90 per cent approval rating for Connexions. Nearly 70 per cent felt the service helped them with life-changing decisions.
Speaking at the launch, Ivan Lewis, minister for young people at the Department for Education and Skills, said: "Connexions is the flagship youth service. It is a genuine attempt to change the way the Government works with young people.
"The survey results reveal that young people believe Connexions can make a difference to their lives. Today is a symbolic day for the Government in its efforts to develop a modern and relevant youth service."
