Coast-to-coast bike ride success

Youth Work
A group of young people from Bradford completed a 127-mile coast-to-coast bike ride during the Easter holidays.

The group of 12 young people from Bradford Council's looked-after children service and integrated youth support set off from Bradford on 12 April and completed their trip on 16 April.

The route took in the Lake District and the North Pennines, which includes some big hills.

Jane Glaister, strategic director for culture, tourism and sport at the council, said: "Challenges like the coast-to-coast cycle ride are both great fun and huge confidence boosters."
