In a letter to Prime Minister Tony Blair, Field said the agency isrefusing to publish crucial pieces of data, including how many clearedcases are due to its work and how many are due to parentalagreements.
Work and Pensions Secretary David Blunkett said there was nothing in theletter that ministers were not "painfully aware of".
But the Child Poverty Action Group said the agency was a "shambles".
"While the agency remains in its current form, many children in povertywill continue to go without," said the group's chief executive KateGreen.
