Aim: To divert young people from crime and homelessness
Young people at risk of offending have taken part in a West End-style musical. It was part of a two-year project put together by Leaps & Bounds, an independent charity that specialises in working with young people at risk of crime, homelessness and drug taking or dealing.
Young people were referred to the project by youth offending teams, Connexions and schools.
The performance of Chasing Fate took place at the Birmingham Hippodrome in October and starred more than 70 young people from Dudley, Sandwell, Telford & Wrekin, and Walsall.
