After six months of talking to them, we asked if there was a way we could become more politically involved in the community. They put us on a seven-month peer leadership course run by the youth service and we got certificates.
The course taught us teambuilding skills, leadership, being in control and advocacy. We also organised a sexual health awareness Valentine's rave and created a skatepark.
We are now going to be more involved in a local youth forum.
