Now I teach car repairs to teenagers for four days a week at the Glaman Resource Centre in Carmarthenshire, Wales. I also attend an NVQ motor mechanics course.
We started the project with a 70 toolkit, and now get funding from local businesses and biker groups. The local vicar gave us our garage.
Before I got involved in the project, I drove cars illegally and was always in trouble, but the project gave me something to learn and teach others. We build bikes from scratch and buy off-road buggy kits to build and race. We have won the National Youth Bike Awards engineering category for two years running.
