I joined at 13 in Telford. Ever since then I have taken part in almost every course available, including sports contests, parachuting, skiing, parades and leadership training.
The Air Cadets have given me lots of opportunities to do things I would never have done, such as develop my leadership skills, or achieve my gliding scholarship, which I gained through a residential course. I also learned about aircraft, which focused me on my future career.
I am studying engineering at university and have a place at RAF Cranwell, in Lincolnshire, when I graduate.
