Best thing I ever did: Louise Strachan, 18, Wakefield

I was living at my uncle's house, sleeping on the sofa. I was about to start college, had no money and no idea what I was going to do with my future.

After one meeting, I decided to feel better. Sarah helped me to look at the future and think about what I could do, rather than worry about the way I was living. I could now see a way out of it all. Having a youth worker in my life, through such a hard time, has helped a lot more than Sarah probably knows. Without it, I wouldn't be in college now. I can never thank Sarah or Connexions enough for giving me a reason to carry on and not letting me give up.
