Best thing I ever did

1 min read

I have been a St John Ambulance cadet for 12 years as part of the Hull Kingston division. I also work in a major supermarket and I help train up staff in first aid.

When St John Ambulance recently launched a feature on its web site called iFirstAid, I downloaded it onto my MP3 player and have been using it a lot to help train my colleagues.

iFirstAid gives basic first-aid information on things like burns, cuts and resuscitation. It doesn't replace formal first-aid training, but is fantastically accessible and easy. I have so far trained 15 staff at work and 30 young people on a first-aid course at school as well. www.sja.org.uk/firstaid/info
