We visited many of the first-aid stations along the marathon route. It was a day I will never forget. I learned a lot and enjoyed the chance be at the heart of such an amazing event.
I've been a cadet for nearly five years. I really enjoy it and I've benefited not only from gaining first-aid skills, but also the chance to develop leadership, teaching and communication skills.
In the future, I hope to study medicine and become a doctor. I'd also like to develop my career at St John Ambulance and one day become a high-ranking officer.
