Best thing I ever did: Gary Shaw, 19, Bramhall, Cheshire

1 min read

I did e2e because I wanted to go straight into work, rather than college.

I wanted to be a carer because my brother is disabled and the work experience revived that.

I got confidence and communication skills, and I'm more outgoing now than I was.

I also learnt how to handle people with Alzheimer's disease; one time, I saw an old man in the street who was lost. I walked around with him for half an hour and eventually found a place he knew; the pub. The manager recognised him and I got him home.
