My mum wouldn't have liked The Vagina Monologues, which I recently saw for the first time. She'd have been horrified at the idea of women talking about their front bottoms - especially on stage. She'd think it disgusting and unnecessary. Me? I absolutely love it, especially having been given pretty negative messages about my body and sexuality as a kid.
Mine would be wearing a tiara.
The book is fantastic and I would one day love to actually take part in a performance of it myself, or even write another version. Er, am I getting too close to the bone talking about this stuff?
