I live in a harsh city and there is often tension on the streets, but lately I have noticed a strange phenomenon. I call it bus wars. It's caused by new buses that have easy access for prams, wheelchairs and buggies.
This is a fantastic development. No longer do you see harassed parents trying to load the shopping, baby and folded pram while being tutted at by the other passengers waiting in the rain to get on. It also means that wheelchair users can travel more easily and that they can leave the car at home if they want to. So what's the problem then? Surely this is great.
