Young People Now's research into underage drinking certainly makes sobering reading. The comprehensive survey carried out in association with the Office of the Children's Commissioner found that three out of four underage young people had tried alcohol at least once and almost one in three 15- and 16-year-olds drinks alcohol at least once a week.

Young people simply have to ask someone who looks old or intimidating enough to go into the local supermarket or convenience store and pick up a few bargain bevvies, then they can settle back on the swings and get hammered.
