That is the view of a five year old. Another said: "The signs on TV sayCoca-Cola and football is good for you."

How do five year olds acquire that view? Food and drinks companies don'tpromote products high in fat, salt or sugar to children. That is a myth'says Which? magazine. The companies may have stopped directlyadvertising sweets, snacks and sugary drinks to under-12s, but do itinstead by viral marketing, websites, toys and tie-ins with children'sfilms and sporting events.

The Food and Drink Federation told The Independent it is "disappointing"that Which? has "decided to generate cheap headlines which don't reallyhelp to take the debate forward". No sweety-treats for them, then.
