What will a typical day entail? We go out and talk to young people in particular areas, record our findings and feed that back into meetings with other agencies.
What other agencies do you work with?
It's a wide range. We work closely with agencies such as the county council's youth service, neighbourhood watch schemes and voluntary sector agencies that are working with young people.
What projects are you involved in at the moment? We've just done a five-a-side football scheme. We are also doing some drug-education videos and a project against homophobia.
Do you have a youth work background? I'm not a qualified youth worker, but I have a background in youth work and a degree in criminal justice.
