I service the existing network of 51 voluntary organisations already working in partnership with Connexions and others with similar aims. This means booking venues and organising attendees and the agenda. More importantly, it is about using my role to help the network and board members build the Connexions agenda locally.
What other organisations do you work with? I see the network as a voice within Connexions and a tool to hold the service to account. Different organisations from the voluntary sector come together to do this. These include our chair from the YMCA, who is also a member of the Connexions partnership board. As well as this important link, other representatives come from young carers projects, Foundation Housing and The Prince's Trust.
