What does your work involve? Until now, it's been developing the Financial Services Authority's strategy for young adults by responding to the needs of young people not in education, employment or training. We got the OK for this part of the strategy in January and implementation will start following the strategy's launch this month.
What does this strategy involve? Equipping people who engage young people with the skills they need to develop their capability in managing money. The strategy also involves facilitating partnerships between financial organisations such as banks and organisations working with young people. The long-term plan is that this area of work is embedded in all youth work training.
