The Halifax Midnight League for boys and girls aged 12 to 16 will run for nine weeks from 18 June on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 8-11pm.
Calderdale Council's Garry Smith, who is on the project's steering group, said: "What we have done is identified the peak times for offending and when large groups gather."
Youth offending teams and the police will help to refer young people to the project, which is funded by Halifax Bank of Scotland. Calderdale Council, Football in the Community and West Yorkshire Police are running the programme.
Similar projects have been set up in Birmingham and Scotland.
