A dramatic entrance: Teenagers perform at Suffolk directoratelaunch

Young people from Claydon High School perform part of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the launch of Suffolk County Council's new children and young people's services directorate. The teenagers' performance was backed by renditions of West Side Story and Make Do and Mend by young people from other schools in the county.

Conservative councillor Patricia O'Brien, the cabinet member forchildren, schools and young people's services in Suffolk, said: "A lotof hard work and effort has gone into the integration of services forchildren and young people and we are very pleased with everything wehave achieved so far." Suffolk is now in the process of setting up 34children's centres across the county.
