2020 Children's and Young People's Workforce Strategy

Careers
Views are being sought on the government's 2020 Children's and Young People's Workforce Strategy, which supports its ambition that every child and young person should achieve their full potential across the Every Child Matters outcomes.

The outcomes are: be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic wellbeing.

The quality and capacity of the children and young people's workforce is crucial to the strategy's 2020 vision, in which everyone working with children and young people will be: excellent in their practice, respected and valued as professionals, committed to partnership and integrated working, and ambitious for every child and young person.

The strategy sets out how the government will work with partners and people in the workforce to ensure the workforce achieves this vision.

Closing date: 10 March.
