
The film has been produced by a coalition of youth and environmental organisations that claim young people’s transport needs are being ignored.
They argue that shrinking bus networks and fare rises of eight per cent above inflation are having a disproportionate effect on young people’s ability to travel.
The coalition is also concerned that many councils are planning to axe all support for post-16 travel under new home-to-college transport policies, which are being introduced as a result of wider cuts to local authority funding.
Sophie Allain, bus campaigner at the Campaign for Better Transport, said young people depend on buses to access education and training opportunities inside and outside of college.
