'Vinnie' on plans for UK's first LGBT school

"This is not the answer. I'm gay and this completely segregates us from the mainstream school system that we critically need to be accepted and tolerated within. Any kid that goes to this school would need a parent's permission and would therefore be openly gay - and it's openly gay kids that we need in schools to give others in the closet the confidence that they are not alone. This school keeps gay kids in the shadows, and you don't get acceptance hiding in the shadows. Big money-wasting mistake that could be better spent to help this youth."

'Alxndr Bn' also shares his views on the plans
