Project: Revolution
Mission: To show young people at risk of offending that there is an alternative
Funding: £24,000 from West Sussex County Council's local area agreement and the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership
The Revolution project is aimed at young people aged between 13 and 18 living in Horsham, West Sussex who are at risk of offending. The four-week programme involves three day-long sessions and a two-day residential, to help change young people's behaviour. The project was set up when Horsham District Council realised that, although there was provision to help young offenders, there was very little in place to support those on the cusp of offending.
