Police to investigate Hampshire youth club fire

Police have been called in to investigate a fire that broke out at a youth club in Hampshire at the weekend.

The King's Arms club in Petersfield had to be evacuated on Saturday after the blaze was discovered on the first floor of the building.

The youth club has around 400 members and may have to temporarily relocate as a result of the fire.

Fire investigators passed the case on to the police after their findings revealed doubts about the cause of the fire.

Two fire engines attended the scene, with 27 fire fighters on hand to tackle the blaze.
