Participation: Young people have say on 76m fund

Young people will be able to have more say on how 76m of cash is spent thanks to a partnership between the Big Lottery Fund and Participation Works consortium.

The consortium will support organisations that help young people, agedbetween 10 and 25, make funding applications for projects from the YoungPeople's Fund 2. It will help share good practice and provide resourcesto keep young people involved in applying.

Clive Booth, chair of Big Lottery Fund, said: "Many projects found thetask of involving young people a challenge. Participation Works isperfectly placed to provide guidance on this issue."
