Parental involvement: Disability leads way for schools

Schools should use successful work with the families of pupils with disabilities or learning difficulties as a model for improving parental involvement in schools, an Ofsted report recommends.

Ofsted surveyed 25 schools to identify ways schools can engage with families. The Parents, Carers and Schools report also said schools should work with grandparents and extended family.
