Huge fund boost for UK Youth

Youth Work
UK Youth has gained nearly nine hundred thousand pounds to fund a project that helps hard-to-reach young people shape youth services.

The three-year £893,009 grant, from the Big Lottery Fund's Young People's Fund 2 National Grants programme, will fund the organisation's Hearing Unheard Voices project.

The project aims to reach disadvantaged and vulnerable 11- to 18-year-olds and support them to become better involved in developing, shaping and influencing young people's services.

As part of the programme, young people will have the opportunity to campaign and receive a Youth Achievement Award for their participation.
