Bowers to stand in as chief executive at Youth Justice Board

Paul Bowers will become the acting chief executive of the Youth Justice Board (YJB) on 1 August.

Bowers is currently the YJB’s director of secure accommodation and will fill in after Ellie Roy’s departure to the Border and Immigration Agency.

YJB chair, Frances Done, said: Paul will be working with our senior managers to ensure that we continue to deliver a high-quality service in relation to all aspects of our work.

The board is looking forward to working with Paul and the other senior managers in the next few months while the appointment process takes place for a permanent chief executive.
