The newly appointed members join existing co-chair Liberal Democrat MP Simon Hughes. But Natascha Engel has stepped down from her role as chair to focus on the newly created Backbench Business Committee.
Creasy moved from her role at the Scout Association after winning the Labour seat vacated by Neil Gerrard in Walthamstow in the May general election. Jackson, Conservative MP for Peterborough, was previously a trustee at the City of London YMCA.
"I want the group to be a space that can facilitate a broader discussion between a range of parties, including young people, politicians and the third sector, about the public policy challenges facing young people," said Creasy. "For me, this is as much about what's missing from the current debates as the specific policies on offer."
