The consultations will focus on issues such as home schooling agreements and the pupil and parent guarantee that were set out in the white paper Your Child, Your Schools, Your Future.
Parts of this, such as the pupil and parent guarantees of what should be expected from schools, form part of the Children, Schools and Families Bill, which is currently going through Parliament.
The timetable features 12-week public consultations early next year on parent and pupil guarantees and how best to reward high performing specialist schools.
Also early next year, a public consultation on ensuring that schools intervene at an early stage with problems will be launched, as will a public consultation on school governance.
This will look at issues such as creating federations of schools, executive head teacher roles and training for school governors.
In spring a consultation on home schooling is due to get under way.
But plans for school report cards, which will offer details about school performance to parents, will not involve a public consultation. Instead, a second series of stakeholder conferences will take place in March next year. The first set of such conferences took place in September this year.
