Funding of up to 3,000 for charities' youth projects

What is it? The trust awards grants to UK registered charities for projects undertaken in the UK. Each year it sets out what types of projects it will fund during that grant period. Priorities for the next three years will be music and the arts, medical, and children and youth. Applications for grants in these areas can only be made in the year in which they are a priority for the trust.

How much is on offer? The trust has seen the number of applications received increase by 200 per cent in the past five years. This has meant it has had to limit grants to £3,000 and £1,000 to give as many as possible. It has also decided to end grants to overseas projects after this year. Grants are awarded for one year only and are not awarded to charities on consecutive years.
