Coram Children's Legal Centre (CCLC) has launched a telephone advice line, providing free information and advice to frontline practitioners working with children about their child protection and safeguarding legal obligations. The new advice line is part of the CCLC's Child Protection Project, which offers legal advice, information and training for frontline practitioners, funded by a grant from the Department for Education.
What is the Child Protection Project (CPP)?
The CPP will provide frontline practitioners with information and training on how to meet and fulfil child protection and safeguarding obligations, both in terms of the law and best practice. It is a three-pronged service that consists of tailored legal advice via a dedicated telephone advice line; an innovative website planned for early 2012; and online and in-person training courses, also forthcoming.
