An award scheme recognising high-quality special educational needs and disability (SEND) provision in Warwickshire has more than doubled its recipients since it was set up last year.
There are now a total of 40 WIncKS - an abbreviation of Warwickshire Inclusion Kite-marking Scheme - a joke not lost on Dr Zoe Harwood, who together with a group of parents and practitioners was responsible for setting up the innovative programme.
"When I realised we had 40 WIncKS I had to change the last part of my speech," says Harwood who gave out awards to a further 22 childcare settings at a ceremony earlier this year.
