Rise in pupils with education health and care plans has slowed while proportion completed in 20-weeks rose four-fold

ACTION

A radical restructure of special educational needs and disability (SEND) services in Buckinghamshire is helping the council to improve its outcomes for children and young people.

The overhaul was spurred by rising numbers of children requiring education, health and care plans (EHCPs), making rates in the county one of the highest in both the South East region and nationally.
