What is it? Waste Works is The Co-operative Group's recycling education centre, based at its office waste recycling centre in Manchester. This is where paper from its nearby head office is converted into toilet and kitchen paper, which is then sold in its retail outlets.

What is it? The diploma was launched in September 2008 as part of the government's 14 to 19 education reforms. It is available in 39 consortiums of schools, colleges and employers. Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust is the first hospital in England to establish a permanent training base for the diploma.
