CYP Now Awards 2010: Countdown begins to big night of the year

This year marks the fifth Children & Young People Now Awards, and our judging panel has shortlisted the entries that represent the best work with children, young people and families. Join us for the biggest night of the year as we announce the winners.

The 2010 Children & Young People Now Awards, organised in association with the Children's Workforce Development Council, will share and celebrate best practice from across the children and young people's sector.

Winners from 22 categories will be announced at a gala dinner on the evening of Thursday 18 November in central London. Sarah Teather, minister for children and families, will open the event and deliver a keynote speech.

Our expert adult judges have whittled down this year's 460 entries to the shortlist opposite, which will now be judged by a panel of young people. Thanks to all those who entered and best of luck to all the finalists.
