CYP Now Awards 2011: The shortlist

This year marks the sixth Children & Young People Now Awards. Thank you to all those who entered. Our judging panel has shortlisted the entries that represent the best work with children, young people and families.

The 2011 Children & Young People Now Awards will share and celebrate best practice for all those who work to improve the lives of children, young people and families.

Despite the challenges facing the sector, enthusiasm for the awards remains extremely high, with more than 420 entries received. Thanks to all those who entered. Whittling down those entries to produce a shortlist was no easy task but our expert panel of adult judges has managed to do just that, with a panel of young judges examining the shortlisted entries to help determine the winners.

Winners of this year's awards across the 20 categories will be notified in advance of a reception, which will take place on the evening of Thursday 17 November in Hammersmith, west London.
