The September edition of CYP Now takes an in-depth look at the key measures in the government's new Civil Society Strategy.
Sector leaders analyse what the strategy means for how youth services will be delivered in the future, including what they want to see from the review of youth work statutory guidance.
CYP Now's Qualifications and Training Guide details all that is new in training opportunities for the entire children's workforce.
The 16-page special report is on exploitation and vulnerability. In addition to summarising the latest research and policy developments in this increasingly multi-agency arena, there are five examples of good practice including:
- Luton Council's Prevent programme
- Redthread's I Define Me project
- Westminster's Integrated gang unit
- Lancashire Council's vulnerability hub
- Catch 22's pan-Merseyside integrated child exploitation service
