In the March edition of CYP Now: Inclusive play, foster care stocktake and tackling CSE

The March edition of CYP Now visits Naomi House and Jacksplace hospices to get a behind-the-scenes look at the work of their award-winning play team.

The service, winner of the Play Award at the 2017 CYP Now Awards, works to ensure children and young people with life-limiting and terminal conditions have the chance to learn and have fun through play.

Last month saw the publication of the long-awaited review of foster care - we assess the implications of six of the key recommendations and the sector's reaction to them. 

The 12-page special report looks at the latest policy, practice and research developments in tackling child sexual exploitation.

Practice examples featured include: South Yorkshire's Empower and Protect project; the Sexual Exploitation Hub in Newcastle; the NSPCC's Protect and Respect programme; and Young and Safe run by North East Lincolnshire Council.
