Gun and knife crime consultation launched
Wednesday, November 21, 2007
Children's charity NCH has today launched what it claims is one of the largest ever youth consultations on gun and knife crime.
Children and young people are being asked how they are affected by the issue, and what they think can be done to tackle it.
The consultation grew out of a pilot at NCH’s Rightfully Yours project in south London. It has the backing of a number of sporting stars, including former athlete Colin Jackson, and boxer Joe Calzaghe.
The initiative is part of the charity’s Growing Strong campaign, which focuses on emotional wellbeing.
