Safeguarding children and young people in NHS Wales: ‘Looking through a different lens’
The Safeguarding Children’s Service at Public Health Wales is organising a conference in partnership with Children in Wales to look at safeguarding children and young people within the NHS. The conference will bring together key health service personnel to raise awareness of current issues in safeguarding children and young people and consider actions to improve safeguarding practice.
Delegates will also discuss the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and how to embed it in practice.
The conference will take place in Cardiff on 21 June.
