This annual event is taking place on 12 August. During the Assembly, governments from around the world will review the achievements of the World Programme of Action for Youth (WPAY) since 1995. The programme contained targets for action to be taken in a wide range of areas affecting young people. These include education, employment, poverty, drug use and youth offending.
