Journalism charity Headliners UK has received a grant of 9,977 toward the costs of its volunteering through journalism project for young people in Islington and Hackney.
The grant has been made by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales through its community programme. Headliners works with young people aged eight to 19 to provide learning through journalism. The funding will focus on empowering young people in the London boroughs to tell their own stories through print and broadcast media. www.headliners.org.
