The centres are being rolled out over five years and will bring together youth services offered by Doncaster Youth Service, Connexions, the local health authority and the voluntary sector.
Steve Wilson, youth engagement officer for the council, said: "A centre of excellence will be set up in each of the school catchment areas in the borough and will offer services focused on the needs of young people in each particular area."
He said the centres are existing premises with the capacity to be enhanced to provide a wider range of services, and young people have been fully involved in the refurbishment.
