Youth services: Birmingham opens night-time service

Birmingham Youth Service's dusk-till-dawn Beyond Midnight service will launch on 18 November. A bus with youth work facilities has been developed by 20 local voluntary groups and the youth service.

Beresford Dawkins, community safety officer at Birmingham Youth Service, said: "Voluntary groups will develop projects for the bus."

The bus has been funded with a total of 180,000 over three years from the Single Regeneration Budget.
