Hazel Blears, the minister of state for crime and sustainable communities, and Rod Morgan, the chair of the Youth Justice Board, are due to speak at Young People Nows second youth justice conference on 25 May in London.
The event, Uniting Perspectives and Engaging Young People to say No to Crime, will look at issues around preventing young peoples involvement in crime, including ways to combat antisocial behaviour, and the Governments respect agenda.
David Aaronovitch, a columnist for The Times, is also due to address the event, alongside a range of youth justice professionals.
